Welcome
The STICK online community is built as part of the NSF-sponsored project: Science & Technology Innovation Concept Knowledge-base (STICK): Monitoring, Understanding, and Advancing the (R)Evolution of Science & Technology Innovations.
The online community aims to serve researchers, policy makers, and others who are interested in the area of Science of Science and Innovation Policy (SciSIP), particularly those who are interested in analyzing and modeling the evolution of science and technology innovations.
See the Project Description for a more in-depth view of what STICK is all about.
Specifically, The STICK Open community:
- Helps SciSIP researchers to share their data, analytic and visualization tools, and research results.
- Allows community members to communicate synchronously or asynchronously and supports discussion on SciSIP-related topics.
- Supports co-authoring among community members on online pages or off-line articles.
- Provides social awareness in the community on members’ research progress and other related activities.
- Creates positive atmosphere in the community, provides emotional support, and improves mutual understanding.
| STICK Open Community is supported by the National Science Foundation's Human and Social Dynamics program (Grant IIS-0729459) and Science of Science and Innovation Policy program (Grant SBE-0915645). |
